“That we, in some ways,
helped broaden the scope of
country music, helped make it
more mainstream and cut songs
that impacted lives.”

“I hope our peers and he-
roes in our country music family
know that we always tried to stay
true to the music we’ve made all
these years. And most impor-
tantly, with any success we’ve
had we’ve continually tried to
mirror that by giving back to our
community here in Nashville and
anywhere else we could to help.”

“That every day we always
gave our entire hearts to the mu-
sic, to the fans. And, our charity
work, especially our work with
Vanderbilt Hospital.
