Page 6 CHURCH GUIDE First Presbyerian Church Over 150 years ago First Presbyterian Church was planted by God in down- town Morristown. Much has changed in those 150 years, but our calling to Morristown and the sur- rounding area has remained the same. Our doors remain open to all as we strive to bring more light to this community and world over the next 150 years. From day one, FPC has focused on caring for people and serving the com- munity in whatever ways God is leading us. In the last 150 years we have shared in the joys and love of Christ in so many ways with this community from housing the first classes for Walters State to hosting countless events, birthdays, weddings, and quinceañeras, as well as countless mission and service projects around the county. If you are looking for a place to deepen your faith and grow in your spiritual life as well as embody that faith through active service to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, then FPC is for you!
