Holds annual shareholders’ meeting T he Annual Sharehold- ers’ Meeting of First Commerce Bancorp, Inc. was held at 10:00 a.m. local time on March 12, 2024, at the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association in Lewisburg, TN. Chairman of the Board, William B. Marsh, expressed his gratitude to the shareholders for their attendance and numerous contributions throughout the year, emphasizing that their support and involve- ment have been instru- mental in First Commerce Bank’s success. Chief Financial O ffi cer Ti ff any Allen presented a fi nancial report highlight- ing the bank’s consider- able growth and a great increase in net income, a testament to our econom- ic strength. CFO Allen af- fi rmed that 2023 was our most pro fi table year to date. President/CEO Luke Buckley reported that, per the FDIC’s annual market share report on June 30, 2023, First Commerce Bank holds a command- ing deposit market share with 58.39% of Marshall County’s deposits. He was pleased to announce that First Commerce Bank ranked number 3 in over- all bank performance out of 121 banks headquar- tered in Tennessee during the fourth quarter of 2023, according to the Tennes- see Bank Performance Report. This report is in- dependently compiled and published by the Financial Management Consulting Group, a nationally recog- nized bank rating service. President/CEO Buckley also discussed First Com- merce Bancorp, Inc.’s stock, noting thedividends paid last year were in ex- cess of $2.2 million. Since its inception, the value of the bank’s stock has in- creased signi fi cantly. Any shareholder who invested in stock during the bank’s start-up period in 2002 equates to a 671% increase in the stock’s value. Executive Vice Presi- dent Kristen Gold spoke on the bank’s loan portfo- lio, highlighting its growth to $495 million. She reas- sured shareholders about the bank’s stability by not- ing the asset quality, with past-due loans at .15% of gross loans on December 31, 2023. EVP Gold ex- pressed how pleased she is with our quality loan growth. Executive Vice Presi- dent of Retail Banking DavidD. Delk spoke about First Commerce Bank’s branches and Title Com- pany. He acknowledged that the Fayetteville, Cha- pel Hill, andMurfreesboro branches continue to grow and thrive, and First Com- merce Title is performing well. He added how fortu- nate we are to have great people working for our bank. Chairman Marsh concluded the meeting by thanking the bank’s shareholders, executive team, and many other sta ff members for their involvement in producing outstanding results.
