Students re- ceived awards in the following categories: The ROAR award for high achievement, the Tiger Paw award for excellent behavior, the Tiger E ff ort award for great- est e ff ort, and awards for Character, Writing, Com- puter Lab, Library, Art, Music, and Physical Educa- tion. Jerry Adams is retiring after 51 years and James “Buddy” Wiles is retiring after 21 years. Selah Allen, a junior at Forrest High School, was recognized at the Marshall County Board of Education Board Meeting for scoring a perfect 36 on the ACT Reading section.
