BEDFORD’S Join us July 14-19, 2025 T he Tennessee Walk- ing Horse National Celebration is the larg- est horse show in the world, but it also has provided ways for local civic groups and schools to provide extra funds for projects. The Rotary, Quarter- back and Civitan booth locations have been tak- en over by the Celebra- tion and local businesses. However, the Shelbyville Lions Club is still selling programs at each gate. This year’s spiral-bound version has been a big hit. The Kiwanis Club and V.F.W food booths are always popular. The V.F.W. booth located outside of the arena is bustling from morning until night. The donuts at the Op- timist Club booth are as legendary as the horses. Lines are usually long in the morning and espe- cially after the show ends each night. The Shelbyville Band Boosters booth o ff ers a variety of items. A new addition this year for the 86th Cel- ebration is the Tony Rice Center, which is selling pork rinds of various fl a- vors to help support its recovery programs. The D.A.V. also sells a variety of souvenir items. Celebration provides ways for civic groups to make extra funds
