Real Estate & Personal Property On Site Auction SATURDAY, J nd, : 631 Union Ridge Rd, Wartrace TN 37183 d I realize that one of the best things about being a father is that I also become a grandfather. I am so proud to say that I am the grandfather of three beautiful and sweet girls: Charliene, Koriana, and Jolie. There is an old Welch proverb that says, “Perfect love does not come until you have your fi rst grandchild.” Oh, how true that is. If you see me out and about, I’ll be glad to show you my photos of The Trio . Several years ago, Kori had a battery powered four- wheeler that she rode around on. She would get going at a good pace and turn around and look back over her shoulder and say, “C’mon Papa, c’mon,” as she waved for me to follow her. And of course, being the obedient Papa that I am, I followed Kori. She reminded me of the prophet’s words in Isaiah 11:6, “and a little child shall lead them.” And there went Papa following Koriana as she led me. Children make our lives special. Whether those children are our own or someone else’s, those young lives touch ours and so often they melt our hearts. Those of us who have had the privilege of being parents know how having children changes our lives. Our priorities change; we develop a new outlook on life; and we realize that we are not traveling this road alone. It is my constant prayer that I will be a godly example for my family. I want them to see Jesus in me. I am blessed to be able to say, “I am a Father.”And I am equally blessed to be able to say, “I am a Grandfather.” I want to wish all of you fathers the very best and most blessed and happy Father’s Day.
